Feelings and emotions are sometimes
better expressed through words on paper,
paint on canvas and other forms of art.
Emotion, mood and the senses are closely
intertwined. Vigorous strokes, rich, thick
textures, dramatic compositions and a
highly sensitive use of colour suggest
more than artistic insight. Feelings such
as happiness and sadness, can, through
the hand of an artist, result in works that
have a powerful undercurrent.
